I stumbled onto this product in an international airport when I was feeling a little less than radiant. One sample and one tube later, Im in loveI dont know what type of product this is, but it is closest to a primer I suppose.I use this after my sunscreen has soaked in 1030 minutes. I smooth on a layer, and yes, it is very layerlike. Do not rub it in, just smooth it on, or you get odd little flakes sometimes. I either let it dry like this and go with a bare face, or I apply my tinted moisturizerfoundation depending on the coverage I want IMMEDIATELY with a sponge, patting it on instead of rubbing and smearing.When I say immediately, I mean I dont even waste time putting the cap back on the Beauty Flash Balm until the makeup is on. The sooner you apply it, the smoother it looks.This doesnt give me a poreless, porcelain complexion. It just looks nice, natural, and smooth, and it keeps down the oiliness from my skin and wearing sunscreen. It keeps everything melded together well throughout the day.I love it, I just have no idea what it is

I got this as a sample and really enjoy it I have oily, breakoutprone skin. I dont know if I notice any brightening because my skin is usually a little blotchy with some acne marks, but my skin does look dewy and fresh when I use this. Not to mention, the smell is beyond amazing and it reminds me of Chanel No. 5, which is one of my favorite perfumes. I havent tried pressing it into my skin like the previous reviewer mentioned, so I will try that and see if it makes a difference. It is lightweight and doesnt irritate my skin. I believe if you have clear skin already, this would make more of a difference in brightening an already nice complexion.I have another sample left, but Im not sure if I would purchase a full size as it is quite expensive and doesnt offer any other benefits to my skin, aside from feeling nice on the skin and the beautiful scent. I would probably save this for special occasions or when I really want to feel luxurious and pampered.

Every primer I have ever tried has pilled under my foundation. Ive been vigilant about only pairing like bases water w water, silicone w silicone, oil w oil, but it never made a difference. My foundation would always rub right off my skin after applying primer. So basically, I just never used primer. Now, this product is not really marketed as a primer, but someone on reddit suggested using it as one, and man were they right Unlike most primers, you dont let this one absorb. Instead, the makeup goes on as soon as you apply this. And my makeup sticks all day and does not pill, flake, or get cakey. It says you can apply it on top of your makeup to refresh it, but I havent tried that yet.
